Health

In the Health Care Team at FuturesLab, we look for smart ways to improve care using data and technology. Care organizations collect a lot of information, but it isn’t always used in a way that truly helps in daily practice. That’s why we explore how all this data can help care workers better understand what residents and clients need.

Within FuturesLab, we develop tools that can predict when someone may need extra support, for example in cases of fall risk or changes in behavior. By noticing these signals early, care professionals
can respond more quickly, creating more safety and peace of mind for residents.

Together with care organizations and technical partners, we create dashboards, data visualizations, and smart systems that show what is happening in the care environment. We test these solutions with users so we can learn what works well and what can be improved.

Our goal is to make data and technology clear, practical, and human-centered. We want to develop tools that genuinely support care professionals without making things complicated. This is how we work toward a future where technology helps make care smarter and more personal.
